National Transportation Safety Board Recommends Ban on All In-Vehicle Electronics

►The Los Angeles times on Saturday reported the “first known arrests of U.S. citizens with help from a Predator drone.” A SWAT team, bomb squad, the highway patrol, deputies from surrounding counties, and a Predator drone were enlisted to aid in an investigation of the disappearance of six cows from a farm in North Dakota after a deputy tried to serve a warrant and was met by armed property owners.

Police Release Name of Officer Killed at Virginia Tech

Virginia State Police has released the name of the officer killed in Thursday’s shooting at Virginia Tech. Deriek W. Crouse, a 39-year-old husband, father of five children, and four-year veteran of the force was killed Thursday afternoon by a gunman whose name has yet to be released.
